It leads you through some of the nation’s most picturesque regions and wild national parks, including Kidepo Valley, Kibale Forest, Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Murchison Falls National Park. Day 1: Arrival for the 14-day Uganda Wildlife and Culture Safari

Greetings from Uganda, Africa’s gem! Our safari guide will be prepared to meet you at the Entebbe International Airport, transport you to your reserved lodging in Entebbe, and give you an overview of Uganda. After a long journey, you will check into the lodge, spend the rest of the day unwinding there, and get ready for the lengthy safari. Dinner and overnight at Papyrus Guesthouse.

 Day 2: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you’ll head to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where an excellent conservation initiative aimed at saving Uganda’s nearly extinct rhino herd. Because of this work, tourists to Uganda now have the opportunity to see rhinos. You will track rhinos on foot for an hour after arriving in Zziwa. You are going to Gulu City from the rhino tracking. This is Gulu City that we are discussing is formerly  a war-torn area, Gulu is a thriving town or city. The splendour of life here is evident from dawn till dusk and even into the night, as you will see. Dinner and overnight at Bomah Hotel

Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park and Game drive

After breakfast, you’ll head to Kidepo Valley National Park by road. You’ll get there in time to have lunch and relax before heading out to see the local wildlife. You will continue to observe wildlife in the Narus Valley, located in Kidepo’s southern sector. The region of Kidepo, known as Narus, consists of acacia woodland interspersed with savannah grasslands. In addition, the majority of the park’s animals are found in this region, which has year-round access to permanent water sources. Keep an eye out for lions, the elusive leopard, big herds of buffalo, elephants, zebras, and several antelope species. Dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge

Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Cultural experience

After a hearty breakfast on this 14-day Uganda Wildlife and Culture Safari, you will go on an early morning game drive or safari, where you may spot lions, buffalo herds, elephants, zebras, and even the elusive leopard. Lunch and an afternoon of leisure will be spent back at the lodge. Following a satisfying night’s sleep, you will depart for the Karamojong community, where you will engage in cultural exchange and enjoy a delightful afternoon or evening experiencing their way of life and traditions. This will include storytelling, traditional performances, which include singing and dancing, and the food of the Karamajong. You will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and accommodations.

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast this morning, you’ll head outside to take a walking tour of the African savannah. To follow the local species, you will travel through bushland, over rocky outcrops, and down dry river beds with an armed ranger guide. A stroll along the broad stretch of white sand in the Kidepo River Valley or through the Borassus palm forest, which resembles a desert oasis, are two of the area’s most interesting attractions. You’ll go back to the Narus Valley afterwards to see more animals. Dinner and overnight at Kidepo Savannah Lodge

Day 6: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

The lodge will serve you a leisurely breakfast. After that, you’ll start your transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. The thunderous Murchison Falls rapids and the undulating grasslands of Uganda’s largest national park, where you can potentially spot lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalos, and elephants, are the park’s highlights. The profusion of Nile crocodiles and hippos here will undoubtedly captivate you. Look out for various bird species such as the Chocolate-backed Kingfisher, Ituri Batis, Dusky Long-tailed Cuckoo, Nahan’s Patridge, Pale-fishing Owl, Shoebill Stork and the Goliath Heron, among others. Day 7: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise

A warm cup of coffee or tea will greet you as you begin this day of the 14-day Uganda Wildlife and Culture Safari. Your safari guide will then take you on a morning game drive to search for the rare wildlife found in African savannahs, such as lone cape buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, sitatunga, lions, leopards, and hyenas, in addition to a diverse array of bird species. After that, you’ll have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and unwind until noon.
At the base of Thundering Falls, you will have an adventurous boat ride on the Nile River in the afternoon. Here, you will be able to see a variety of animals, including crocodiles, schools of hippos, waterbucks, and bird species like Shoebill Storks, African Darters, Saddle-billed Storks, and African skimmers, among others. Day 8: Top of the Falls and Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you will take a trip to the top of the falls to fully experience the majesty and splendour of the Murchison Falls. Look out for various wildlife species and avian wonders, such as the Goliath Heron, among others. After reaching the summit, you will make your way to Kibale Forest National Park, where you will spend the night. The lengthy but breathtakingly beautiful trip passes through communities, the verdant hills, and the tea plantations that define this region of Uganda. The breathtaking scenery will never cease to astound you. Dinner and overnight at Guereza Canopy Lodge

Day 9: Bigodi wetland excursion and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast will be served before you depart for the Bigodi Wetlands excursion on this day of the 14-day Uganda Wildlife and Culture Safari. Numerous primate species, including baboons, red-tailed monkeys, l’Hoest’s monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys, are among the diverse array of species found in the Bigodi wetland. For those who enjoy watching birds, the Bigodi is a haven. Keep an eye out for the Pied Kingfisher, African Emerald Cuckoo, Great Blue Turaco, Black-crowned Waxbill, Black-headed Weaver, and Klaas’s Cuckoo. You might substitute the Bigodi Wetlands tour with chimpanzee tracking (Kibale Forest), if that’s more your style. Please be aware that the Chimp tracking permit must be obtained before the actual date. As soon as possible, you’ll start your transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park from the Bigodi (or Kibale Forest). Day 10: Kasenyi morning game drive and Boat Cruise at Kazinga channel

You’ll eat breakfast early in the morning. After that, you’ll go on a morning game drive into the Kasenyi plains, where you’ll see lions, leopards, Cape buffalos, and herds of elephants. You’ll head back to your lodging for lunch and some relaxation. You will have a two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, which links Lakes George and Edward, following lunch. You will be fascinated by the sights of the wildlife while on the journey, which includes crocodiles, elephants, and enormous hippos. On the water’s edge, a wide variety of birds can be seen. Day 11: Tour Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll head to Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha region, which is well-known for the tree-climbing lions that are regularly spotted there. Although there is a good probability of seeing these lions, they can occasionally be difficult to notice, particularly when they are skulking in the grassland in search of food. If you are lucky enough to see them up in the tree, it is a breathtaking and unforgettable sight. The last part of your journey will take you from Ishasha to the lodging, which is located just on the border of Bwindi National Park. After arriving at the lodge, we have the option to either unwind or, for an additional fee, leave for the late afternoon or early evening local community and cultural experience on this day of the 14-day Uganda Wildlife and Culture Safari. Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After breakfast, you’ll head over to the Rangers’ post. A ranger guide will give you a briefing on the dos and don’ts when trekking. After that, you’ll go on your adventure by entering the Bwindi Forest. This rainforest is so beautiful! The region is quite densely forested, with spectacular and steeply forested terrain that is accessible to travellers through a network of animal routes. The terrain and the amount of time required change depending on how these enormous primates travel. You will have an hour to spend with a gorilla troop after you have found them. Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After a leisurely breakfast, you will depart for Lake Mburo National Park. Mburo is a little jewel that’s easily accessible from the roadway that links Entebbe/Kampala to the western Ugandan parks. Although it is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks, it is home to a wide variety of birds and animals, including buffalo, elands, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and the elusive leopard. After checking in and getting some rest, you will leave for a late afternoon or early evening game drive that will allow us to get up close and personal with various wildlife species and rare bird species such as the Red-faced Barbet, Coqui Francolin, Black-bellied Bustard, and the White-headed Vulture. To see nocturnal animals, which will be rare to see compared to the frequent daytime sightings, you can optionally take a night game drive for an additional $30 per person. Day 14: Walking Safari and Transfer back to Entebbe

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll head out with an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide for a morning stroll through the Mburo park. Among the animals you may see up close on this early morning guided walk are Cape buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, elands, topi, and various antelopes. Following the trek to the top of the hills will give you views of Lake Mburo and beyond. Nine of the twelve lakes that encircle Lake Mburo National Park are beautifully visible from this vantage point. After that, you’ll head back to the lodging to finish checking out before driving to the Entebbe airport to catch your departure.
