Payment Policy:

Booking Tips for an African Gorilla Trekking Safari: When booking a tour, we require a 30% down payment and a full payment for the gorilla permit. Please note that permits can only be booked and secured by making a payment. The full payment for the tour must be made six weeks before the tour starts. If you prefer to pay in cash on arrival, it is possible, but we require payments for gorilla permits and chimp walks to be made to our account at the time of booking to guarantee them. To guarantee these services, it is necessary to pay the Uganda Wildlife Association (UWA).

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that unforeseeable events may arise, and we have established transparent and equitable cancellation policies to address these situations:

Gorilla Permits in Uganda (Rules by Wildlife Authority!)

91 days before tracking: 70% refund

90–46 days before tracking: 50% refund

45–9 days before tracking: 25% refund

8–0 days before tracking: no refund

Break down

For gorilla permits in Uganda, we offer a 70% refund for cancellations made 91 days before tracking. If the cancellation is made between 90-46 days before tracking, a 50% refund will be provided. For cancellations made between 45-9 days before tracking, a 25% refund will be given. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations made 8–10 days before tracking.

Gorilla Permits in Rwanda (rules by ORTPN Rwanda!)

30 days before tracking: 80% refund

30–1 days before tracking: no refund

Breakdown

For gorilla permits in Volcanoes national park Rwanda, we offer an 80% refund for cancellations made 30 days before tracking. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations made between 30 and 1 day before tracking.

 Individual Tours and Group Tours

90–45 days before starting: 70% refund (30% will be charged)

45–10 days before starting: 60% refund (40% will be charged)

10–1 days before starting: 0% refund (100% will be charged)

For individual and group tours, we offer a 70% refund for cancellations made 90–45 days before starting, but a 30% fee will be charged. For cancellations made between 45-10 days before starting, a 60% refund will be provided, but a 40% fee will be charged. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations made 10–1 days before starting.

Luxury Tours

45 days before starting: 70% refund (of the advance payment)

45–10 days before starting: 50% refund (of the advance payment)

10–1 days before starting: 0% refund Payment Policy

For luxury tours, we offer a 70% refund of the advance payment for cancellations made 45 days before starting. For cancellations made between 45-10 days before starting, a 50% refund of the advance payment will be provided. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations made 10–1 days before starting.
