As you follow the challenging trail to the other waterfalls, you will go through banana plantations, coffee and other food stuff grown by the people here who are dominantly Sabins, feel free and share with your guides on this walk, to understand well people’s life styles, you need to interact and share with them so utilize this chance! After breakfast, proceed further north via The Nyero rock paintings are set on a prominent granite outcrop called Moru Ikara near Nyero trading Centre in Kumi district. The paintings are said to be over 300 years old and legend has it that the shelters were established by short, light-skinned race of people possibly related to the pygmies of Congo and the Khoikhoi people of southern Africa, a wonderful cultural immersion then continue with our unique drive to the least exploited area by tourists driving through different types of landscapes and traditional villages. This area is really off-the-beaten track. You will realize and observe how the Lord’s Resistance Army disorganized development in this area as compared to where we shall have come from but also how it is slowly but steadily developing again. It is completely safe to travel through this area and we are always on road executing this tour, so now much security threats. We shall find a stopover to enjoy our picnic then later continue to Kitgum, where we shall spend our night and have dinner at Fulgy’s Guesthouse. BLD

Day 5: Transfer To Kidepo Valley National Park

If interested, we can start with a visit of primary schools in Kitgum then continue further to the spectacular and most beautiful National Park in Uganda. Though the journey from Kitgum is on unpaved road and a bit rough it is very rewarding once you reach this rich unmatched national park there are high chances of viewing almost all attractions that are found in the park on a single visit though hard for naturalists to do this on a single visit to any natural enclave and for this case Kidepo Valley National Park. We shall have lunch at our hotel and later explore the vast plains on a game drive in the late afternoon as an introduction to this place, we later get back to our lodge for dinner and overnight at Nga’moru Wilderness Camp. BLD

Day 6: Kidepo Exclusive Wildlife Adventure Safari

After a very early morning breakfast we sped a full day discovering one of the most beautiful and certainly most remote national parks which is least visited in Uganda, we can drive to Kanangorok hot spring and a combined exploration of the Narus River Valley. Kidepo Valley National Park is home to 86 mammal species being the third highest area as far as wildlife diversity is concerned in Uganda. It shields larger herbivores and small ones inclusive than any other protected area in Uganda with 28 species found nowhere else in Uganda.
The bird checklist comprises of 463 confirmed and 26 unconfirmed bird species all at your exposure to be looked out for. After lunch we can opt for another game drive or a visit Karenna and Kadepo for a cultural performance given by the native Karamojongs who are well known for their unique nomadic lifestyle and rich traditions of storytelling and dancing not only fixed to them but almost all tribes in Uganda, each has something unique that you can share and learn just utilize your time in Uganda with our enthusiastic interpreters, dinner and overnight stay at Nga’moru Wilderness Camp. BLD

Day 7: Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast we head further south to the magnificent Murchison Falls and the largest national park in Uganda getting there from the northern gates giving us a welcome game drive as we continue south towards the mighty Nile looking out for hartebeests, Cape Buffaloes, Uganda Kobs and elephants, the game is shared by Kidepo as they are almost share the same ecosystems but the savannah hers change a bit as it becomes a little more hot that where we were while passing the savannah scattered with beautiful views of the Borassus palm trees which naturalists say that germinate very well after going through the digestive system of an elephant making everything important in an ecosystem, we learn and share all this beauty as we roll down to Nile Safari Camp or Sambiya River Lodge where we shall spend 2 nights. BLD.

Day 8: Morning Game Safari And Boat Cruise Along The Nile

We start early morning and drive to the northern bank of Murchison Falls national park where game drives are very productive after crossing The Nile following a delta trail that runs west from the Paraa ferry to the Lake Albert delta offers greater wildlife coincidences including cats, grazers and browsers to a rich avian life including the large ground hornbills, bustards, vultures, eagles down to tiny cisticolas, crombes, finches to raucous weavers and much more await you on this morning game safari. Later in the afternoon, we shall proceed for a cruise to the base of the falls which is a very big highlight of our discovery safari in Uganda, expect hundreds of schools of hippos, the largest crocodiles in Africa, black-and-white colobus monkeys, small herds of buffalo, kobs, bushbucks, elephants, waterbucks, and on lucky lions and leopards come down and try to cool off at the waters of The Nile, later we get back to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Nile Safari Lodge or Sambiya River lLdge. BLD

After this spectacular scenery we continue via the southern part of the national park, though Budongo Forest Reserve a tropical rainforest we slowly drive through and eventually out of the park. Given this great discovery we want you to go back home with all the great big 5 seen, thus enroute we can make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda.
