3 Days Safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is a get away to Uganda’s most popular national park in Uganda and also home to 4 of the big five. The park has the highest number of species diversity. Enjoy a scenic transfer passing through the quiet terraced hills dotted with tea plantations. The early morning game drive can be highly rewarding and the boat cruise is the highlight of the trip with spectacular views of the largest hippos schools you have ever seen and the bird life is spectacular.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is one of the outstanding treasures of Uganda and named after Queen Elizabeth II visit in 1954. En route we shall stop at the equator which divides the earth into the Northern and southern hemisphere. We shall have lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural village, taste an African buffet with a lot of variety, and thereafter proceed with our journey to the park. You may spot a few animals as you make your way through the park. Overnight at either Jacana Lodge or Marafiki Lodge. FB
After breakfast at 6.30 am depart for the early Morning Game drive. The park has a net work of many game tracks which end at the Kasenyi fishing village, you may be treated to a sight of elephants, Waterbucks, Warthogs, the Uganda Kob, herds of Cape Buffaloes. Return to the lodge and after lunch enjoy a 2 hours boat trip on the Kazinga channel, where you may spot a variety of bird species such as Egyptian geese, the yellow billed stork, Great white and Pink Backed Pelicans; Hippos and Crocodiles swimming while others bask in the sun. Return for dinner and overnight. Overnight at either Jacana Lodge or Marafiki Lodge. FB
You may have a another game drive in the morning before leaving for Kampala or you may go for chimpanzee trekking in the Kyambura gorge or go for nature walk in Maramagambo forest where we find bat caves. During your journey back to Kampala you may stopover at Mpigi royal drum makers and have an experience of how the royal drums are crafted using methods that have been passed on from one generation to another
