3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari. Travel south west of Uganda to encounter the highly sought after endangered mountain Gorillas. Gorilla Trekking Safari is rather thrilling as we make our way through the densely forested slopes to spend an hour watching and photographing the shy gentle gorillas. More than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas reside in this ancient and impenetrable forest Bwindi which is also home to lots of other species as you will see on the trip.

Day 1 Transfer to the Gorilla jungle 8-10 hours of driving

Depart from Kampala early morning and proceed south-west for your Uganda – African gorilla safari. Have a stopover at the Equator for photography. The drive of this Uganda gorilla safari takes you through savannah grasslands seeing banana plantations and herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns. Then you ascend into the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, within Uganda all with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Forest. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp, or Buhoma Community Rest Camp. Day 2 Gorilla Tracking in Uganda

Go for gorilla tracking walking up steeply in the dense rain forest through different animals’ trails allowing access to tourists. Gorilla tracking is an inspiring and wonderful adventure which one can’t miss. The Gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they interact. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp, or Buhoma Community Rest Camp. Day 3: Depart the Uganda – African Gorilla Sanctuary 8-10 hours of driving
