Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Parc National des Volcans

On arrival at Kigali International Airport you will be received by one of our representatives who will transfer you to Kigali and time allowing have an exciting city tour to visit some of Rwanda’s memorial sites like the genocide memorial and also do some shopping of traditional African art plus craft. Soon after, continue to Ruhengeri to pleasure in the breathtaking sights of the rolling hills after which Rwanda has gained its international fame. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View. FB

Day 2: Golden monkey trekking in Parc National des Volcans

Early morning after a briefing at the park headquarters for the golden monkey trekking. Head out to the base of the volcanoes and into the bamboo vegetation where these once shy creatures live. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. FB

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest

After breakfast we could go golden monkey trekking or trek Dian Fossey’s grave and the former Karisoke research centre, Before transferring to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park 331km2 of tropical rainforest on a relatively high altitude where over 335 gorillas reside. Overnight at Silverback Lodge. FB

Day 4: Gorilla trekking at Bwindi impenetrable forest

Early morning breakfast and begin our gorilla trek with a briefing at the park headquarters. Then begin the trek at the bottom of the Albertine rift, at the foot of the Virunga mountain ranges. Coming across the gentle giants on the foot of Karisimbi the most memorable moment of a lifetime. Overnight at Silverback Lodge. FB

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale forest National Park

After breakfast we will transfer to Kibale forest National Park popular for the high concentration of primates. Follow the mystical shadows of mountains of the moon. Overnight at Mountains of the moon. FB

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Entebbe onwards

Assemble at the park headquarters early morning in Kanyancu for the Chimpanzee trekking briefing there after continue into the thick rich rainforest in search of chimpanzees. However the forest also offers other attractions including other primate’s species like mongebeys monkey, baboons, L’Hoest’s monkey, the colobus monkey and a rich diversity of birds and plants.
