Where Do Gorillas live? At Journeys Uganda, our focus is basically the mountain gorillas whose remaining population lives within four national parks, in Africa split into 2 regions
Some mountain gorillas inhabit the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda and has a record of over a half of the population remaining in the world.
The other mountain gorillas are found almost at the apex of the western arm of the Albertine Rift valley region referred to as the Virungas conservation area, consisting of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in the South Western Corner of Uganda, Parc Nationale Des Volcanes in Rwanda and Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
