Detailed itinerary

 Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport; Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in the Kampala area, our company representative will pick you up and give you a briefing about your gorilla trekking safari. From there, you will board a domestic charter flight to either Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airstrip, which will take you to the misty jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the giant mountain gorillas. When you get to Kihihi Airstrip, your safari driving guide will meet you and take you to the lodge you have reserved for dinner and the night.

Day 2: Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Return to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and an early start before heading to the park information centre for a pre-tracking briefing about mountain gorilla tracking safety measures. To have an amazing mountain gorilla trekking experience, you will begin your jungle journey with an armed ranger guide who will equip you with information concerning these mountain gorillas. The most stunning forest, home to several animal species, including monkeys, large and small mammals, and numerous bird species, will be traversed throughout this walk. You will spend an hour observing, tracking their movements, analysing their behaviours, and shooting memorial pictures once you have a close encounter with a mountain gorilla. Once you have spent an hour observing the mountain gorillas, travel back to the park information centre to pick up your certificate. This will be the end of your two-day flying Bwindi gorilla trekking safari. After enjoying your relaxation and packed lunch, drive to Kihihi Airstrip to join your return charter flight back to Kajjansi or Entebbe International Airport.
