Day 1: Arrival in Kigali for the 5 Chimpanzees and Culture Safari in Rwanda
Your adventure begins as you touch down at Kigali International Airport. Meet and greet before transferring to Kigali City. There is an optional Kigali City Tour, which includes a visit to the art and craft centre and the genocide sites. You will be transferred to your accommodation in Kigali, where you will settle in and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2: Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park on a 5 days Chimpanzee and Culture Safari in Rwanda
After a hearty breakfast, depart from Kigali and start for Nyungwe Forest National Park. Along the way, you shall make stopovers at different places of interest, such as the Palace of Rwanda’s former King in Nyanza, and local markets. You will also visit a cultural museum and Botanical Gardens in Butare. You shall journey through the picturesque landscapes as you head south to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

On a 5 days Chimpanzees and Culture Safari in Rwanda you either go for a second chimpanzee tracking experience in Nyungwe Forest National Park or embark on a rewarding guided nature walk that will expose you to a variety of animal species, such as the large troops of Colobus monkeys, baboons, and chimps, and bird species such as the shy Shelley’s Crimson-wing, the Rwenzori Turaco, and the Casqued Hornbill, among others. You shall have a picnic lunch and return late in the evening.
