5 Days Kampala and Source of the Nile Adventure: This amazing journey explores Uganda’s capital city of Kampala and its surroundings, offering you a glimpse into their natural beauty, rich history, and cultural legacy.  You will explore the nation’s collection of captive wildlife species at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) before continuing on to Entebbe Botanical Gardens, which offers a tranquil setting full of unusual bird species.

Besides the source of the Nile, Subsequently, you will explore some of Kampala City’s most famous sites, including the ancient Kasubi tombs, the royal family’s resting place in the Buganda kingdom, the Martyrs Shrine at Namugongo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lubaga, Namirembe Cathedral, and the Bahai Temple, which is one of its kind. Proceed to Jinja, the epicentre of adventure in East Africa, by picturesque drive. This is where you will find the Nile’s source, the origin of the longest river in the world.  Enjoy an exhilarating kayak trip or boat journey to the precise location where the Nile exits Lake Victoria from here. You will pass through breathtakingly beautiful countryside in Uganda, which is known for its rolling hills and dense forests, throughout the route.

Day 1: arrival and Transfer to your hotel

Upon arrival, our company representative will be there to greet you and transport you to your hotel so you can get some rest and be ready for the trip. We will take you for amusement based on the day’s events, depending on when you arrive. Dinner at Papyrus Guest House and overnight stay.

Day 2: Uganda Wildlife Education Centre and Entebbe Botanical Gardens

After your breakfast on your 5 Days Kampala and Source of the Nile Adventure, viewing and learning about a wide range of captive animals is both entertaining and educational at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC), formerly known as the Entebbe Zoo. Buffalos, Bushbucks, Otters, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, and white Rhinos are among the mammals at the centre. Primates include Chimpanzees, Patas Monkeys, and Vervet monkeys. Reptiles include African Rock Python, Crocodiles, Monitor Lizards, and Cobras. Bird species include the threatened Shoebill Stork, Egyptian Goose, White-winged Tern, Helmeted Guinea Fowl, African Fish Eagle, Grey Crowned Crane, Giant Kingfisher, and the spotted Eagle Owl, in addition to an astounding variety of Plant Life.

The UWEC offers a variety of visitor amenities, such as gift shops, information centres, children’s discovery areas, lecture halls, boat and donkey rides, performances, and picnic areas. Guided tours are also available. On your 5 Days Kampala and Source of the Nile Adventure, take a nature stroll at the end of the day to the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, where you may spend the evening lounging and observing birds in the botanical gardens near Lake Victoria’s shore. Massive trees that are occasionally adorned with flowers and creepers rule the scenery.

We will return to the hotel for dinner and the night after experiencing all of these thrills. You will have your lunch at UWEC, dinner and overnight stay at Papyrus Guest House.

Day 3: Entebbe, Kampala City Tour

Following breakfast and a briefing on your 5 Days Kampala and Source of the Nile Adventure, begin your urban tour, which will take you past Kabaka’s Palace, Gaddafi Mosque, Rubaga and Namirembe Cathedral, Bahai Temple—the only one of its kind in all of Africa—drive to the Uganda Museum and the Martyrs’ Shrine at Namugongo. Stop for lunch at the Fair Way Hotel after Namugongo, and conclude with a cultural show at the Ndere Cultural Centre.

Day 4: Kampala Source of the Nile in Jinja

On your 5-days Kampala and Source of the Nile Adventure, you will travel to Jinja, the birthplace, renown, and source of the Nile, after breakfast. Observe the wildlife, including Colobus monkeys and several bird species, while driving through the Mabira Tropical Forest. Proceed to the source of the Nile at Ripon Falls, where John Speke stood, after arriving at the well-known Owen Falls Dam, the source of hydroelectric power for Uganda, after a two-hour trip. Proceed to the exhilarating Kayak trip on the same Nile River from this point on. Eat your meal near the Nile’s source. White-water rafting, wild-water jet boating, high-bungee jumping over the Nile, quad biking, and horseback riding are a few other thrilling sports. However, it is necessary to declare in advance whatever activity you would like to participate in. Complete your fascinating tour and head to Kampala to unwind after a long day. After dinner, spend the night at the Jet Villas equivalent.
