Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Jinja
On your 7-days eastern Uganda tour, you will depart from Kampala and head east to Jinja. En route, stop at Mabira Forest, a tropical forest teeming with primates such as monkeys, bird species such as the Great Blue Turaco, and colourful butterflies. Continue through scenic tea and sugar cane plantations to reach Jinja. Visit the source of the Nile, where the world’s longest river begins its journey to the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 2: Rafting on the Great River Nile
After a hearty breakfast, brace yourself for an adrenaline-pumping adventure: white water rafting on the mighty Nile River. Explore the area’s crater lakes and discover hidden caves. Watch out for the different wildlife species, like the Black and white colobus and waterbucks, among others. Day 7: Return to Kampala with a Stop at Sezibwa Falls
On your 7 days eastern Uganda tour, as you journey back from the captivating Mount Elgon National Park, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Sezibwa Falls. Sezibwa Falls is not only a natural wonder but also an important cultural and spiritual site for the Baganda people. It is marked by sharp-edged rocks and the soothing sound of water flowing down steep, ridged stones. The falls are a result of water squeezing through narrow openings in rocks and dropping at great speed (17 meters) into a large pool that is about 14 meters deep. After passing Kayanja Trading Centre on the highway, turn right onto Murram Road and drive for another 1.5 km before you reach the falls.
Activities at Sezibwa Falls Resort include nature-guided walks, bird watching, primate walks, camping, boat riding, and mountain biking. You will transferred to Kampala or Entebbe for departure.
