Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast on day 2 of the 8-day Kenya Great Migration and Rwanda Gorilla Safari, you will be transferred to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Watch out for the beautiful landscapes as you travel from Nairobi to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3 & 4: Game Drives in Masai Mara National Reserve
In the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, you embark on a full day of wildlife viewing after breakfast. After packing a lunch from the lodge, you will spend the entire day in the reserve, taking in the breathtaking game. Keep an eye out for wildlife, including large herds of lions, leopards, elephants, Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, topis, spotted hyenas, zebras, baboons, elegant giraffes, and the elusive cheetah. Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park
You are prepared to begin your gorilla trekking on this day of the 8-day Kenya Great Migration and Rwanda Gorilla Safari after an early breakfast. After being taken to the briefing areas by the driver guide, you will hear from the ranger guide about what to expect while in the park. While you wait for everyone to assemble, take advantage of the Rwandan hospitality. After giving you some advice on gorilla trekking, such as not using flash cameras and no smoking, the ranger guide will split you up into various groups. The driving guide will take you to the designated gorilla group’s trailhead, depending on where the gorilla family you are trekking with is located.
