Detailed Itinerary of the 8-day Kenya Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be welcomed by a Journeys Uganda representative who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in, relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to Lake Naivasha to start our 8-day Kenya Wildlife Safari. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel, have lunch, and embark on a boat cruise on Lake Naivasha. Expect to see different bird species and animals. Also, you will have an evening nature walk, after which you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve
On this day of the 8-day Kenya Wildlife Safari, you will have an early morning breakfast and then travel to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your lodge for check-in, lunch, and relaxation. You will then embark on an evening game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Expect to see a variety of species, such as lions, hyenas, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, and elephants, among others. You should also expect numerous bird species, such as the Lilac-breasted Roller

Days 4 & 5: Full-day game drives in Masai Mara National Reserve
On these two exciting days of the 8-day Kenya Wildlife Safari, you will explore the expansive habitats of Masai Mara National Reserve. You will embark on morning game drives, afternoon game drives, and evening game drives in this famous park. One of the highlights of the game drives is seeing the Big Five and numerous other wildlife and bird species. If you happen to travel between June and November, expect to witness a wildlife spectacle as you observe the great migration.

Day 6: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast on this day of the 8-day Kenya Wildlife Safari, you will embark on a long 9-hour journey from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Amboseli National Park. Alternatively, you can take a flight from Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi, where you will be driven to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your lodge for check-in.

Day 7: Game drive in Amboseli National Park
Explore the stunning Amboseli National Park for an entire day. Large herds of elephants and views of Tanzania’s stunning Mount Kilimanjaro are the park’s main attractions. Other large mammals, such as giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and lions, can be found in the park. You will later be transported back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Nairobi for departure
After breakfast, you will be driven to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi to catch your flight to your next destination. This will mark the end of the 8-day Kenya Wildlife Safari.
