Day 1, Pickup: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park; Rhino Tracking: Drive to the top of the falls

After, you will begin your exciting road trip to Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will spend an hour with white rhinos up close with the assistance of your site ranger guide. Before beginning your journey through Murchison Falls National Park to your reserved lodge, continue your drive to the top of the falls for a brief hike and to witness the breathtaking power of the water and picturesque views. This will be another rewarding experience.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive Safari; Afternoon Boat Cruise Along the River Nile; Night Safari

Get up early on your 3 days best of Uganda wildlife and chimpanzee safari for a cup of coffee and travel to the park’s northern section with a packed breakfast for an amazing game drive where you can see a variety of animals, including lions, common warthogs, Uganda Kobs, Roth child giraffes, Caped buffalo, elephants, Jackson hartebeest, oribis, and some primate species. On a lucky day, you might see a leopard. Take a brief respite to savour your hearty breakfast before continuing on your game drive to thoroughly explore the park and see a variety of wildlife.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo—Drive to Kampala

On your 3-day Best of Uganda Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari following breakfast, meet your safari guide and head to the park information offices to join other visitors for training on how to interact with chimpanzees and the rules to follow when searching for them in the bush. After that, start your escorted forest trek to look for the smart chimpanzees, which share 98.8% of their DNA with us. You might come across additional mammal and bird species, like bush pigs and other primates, while on your woodland ramble. You will spend an entire hour with the chimpanzees after you meet them, watching them play in the tree branches, feeding and caring for their young, and snapping as many pictures as you like.

After taking a break for lunch, drive back to Entebbe or Kampala for the drop-off.
