3-Day Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari: Enjoy the best jungle experiences in one of Uganda’s historic and breathtaking national parks on your 3-day Murchison Falls Wildlife safari. Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park—Visit the top of the Falls.

Following a briefing regarding your 3-day Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari, our safari driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you on this exciting and adventurous safari, which takes 4 to 5 hours along Gulu Highway. On arrival to the park, you will explore the top of the falls, the strongest waterfall in the world, with breathtaking views where water rapids of the Nile River plunge into a 7-meter-wide gorge and 43 meters down the pool to produce a beautiful, thunderous sound. Check-in at your booked hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, head to the northern section of the park for the morning game drive, where you will see a variety of wildlife, including spotted hyenas, elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, warthogs, waterbucks, topis, Jackson hartebeest, primates, and several bird species. Relax and head back to the lodge for lunch; after lunch, head for the afternoon boat cruise safari, where you will see aquatic and land creatures like waterbucks and hippos. Buffaloes, elephants, and birds like the Giant Kingfisher, African Darter, African Skimmer, Rock Pratincole,  African Fish Eagle, and many others. Return for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Entersbbe International Park

Upon concluding your 3-day Murchison Falls and Wildlife Safari, get up early and depart from the lodge before heading to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the endangered southern white rhinos. You will see these incredible animals up close, which reached extinction during the 1970s due to political upheaval and human activities like poaching. After, proceed with your journey back to Entebbe International Airport to catch your return flight.
