This 10-Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Adventure Safari takes you to the best adventure destinations in Uganda, where you will encounter stunning scenery, diverse wildlife, and a rich cultural heritage. It will take you to the misty jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls National Park, Lake Mburo, and Kibale National Park.

Reaching Bwindi, you will track the endangered mountain gorillas and also pay a visit to the Batwa communities for a cultural tour.  You will also visit Murchison Falls National Park, where you will have breathtaking scenery of the powerful waterfalls, have a wildlife adventure, go on game drives, and take a boat cruise.

Day 1 Arrival – Meet and Greet – Drive to the Hotel – Visit to Ndere Cultural Centre-10-Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Adventure Safari

On your 10-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife adventure safari, upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, our company representative and safari guide will welcome and greet you. You will then be taken to your hotel in Kampala, where you can freshen up. Later, you will meet again for a briefing about your 10-day Uganda wildlife safari with gorilla trekking. Enjoy cultural performances and dinner before an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Kampala City Tour

On your 10-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife adventure safari, have breakfast and then take a tour of Kampala city to explore its religious, cultural, and historical sites. Visit places like Kabaka’s palace, Gaddafi Mosque, and the Uganda Museum. Enjoy local street food like “Rolex” and fresh fruits, experiencing the essence of Kampala.

Day 3: Visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary—Drive To Murchison Falls National Park—Descend The Murchison Falls From The Bottom—Spend The Evening At Leisure

Wake up early in the morning to have breakfast (6:30 am); after checking out of your hotel, start your adventurous journey to Murchison Falls National Park with a visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the white rhinos. Here, visitors will have the opportunity to get close to their feet with the help of your site ranger guide, and you will spend one hour with them studying their behaviors as you learn.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive Safari – Afternoon Boat Cruise Along The River Nile – Night safari

On your 10-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife adventure safari, wake up early for coffee and bring a packed breakfast to the northern part of the park for a game drive. Look for animals like Cape buffalo, elephants, Uganda kobs, and more, including lions and possibly a leopard. Take a short break to enjoy breakfast, then continue the game drive to see various wildlife.

Later in the afternoon, leave the jungle and head back to your lodge to relax and have lunch. Afterward, drive to the Paraa gathering point for an afternoon boat cruise safari on the Victoria Nile. This cruise goes upstream to the base of Murchison Falls, providing a stunning view of the falls.

You can expect to see various water mammals and birds, including hippos, Nile crocodiles, Egyptian geese, goliath herons, kingfishers, pelicans, bee-eaters, hornbills, and cormorants. After the boat cruise, return to your lodge to relax and have an early dinner. Then, go back to the national park for a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals and big cats.

Day 5: Murchison Falls National Park – Drive To Kibale Forest National Park – Rubalika Community Tour

On your 10-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife adventure safari, have a fantastic breakfast and check out of your lodge. Drive through the park and across the Nile River to Kibale Forest National Park, enjoying views of tea estates, forests, and the Rwenzori Mountains along the way. Stop in Fort Portal City for lunch and explore the city on foot before continuing to your lodge. Later, drive to Rubalika village for a community experience. Walk through the village to meet local people and learn about their daily lives, which include making gin from bananas, coffee, and arts and crafts. Return to your lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking Safari—Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park—Visit Katwe Salt Mining Community

On your 10-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife adventure safari, after breakfast, meet your safari guide and go to the park information office for a briefing on how to safely look for chimpanzees in the forest. Then, start a guided forest walk to search for chimpanzees, our closest relatives with 98.8% of human DNA. During the walk, you might see other wildlife, including mammals and birds. When you find the chimpanzees, you will have an hour to observe them as they play, eat, and care for their young, while taking photos.

Afterward, enjoy lunch and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park to visit the Katwe community, known for its salt mining activities around salty Lake Katwe, practiced since the 16th century. There, you can participate in salt mining and learn from your guide about the community’s traditions. After the tour, check in at your lodge for the evening, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive—Late Morning Boat Cruise On The Kazinga Channel—Transfer to Bwindi

Have an early morning breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park to look for wild animals like reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthogs, elephants, lions, and buffaloes. Later, relax and go on a late boat cruise safari along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This cruise is recommended for seeing hippos, Nile crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and various water birds. Return to your lodge for lunch, then transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park, check in, and prepare for gorilla tracking the next day. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience – Drive to Lake Mburo National Park – 10-Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Adventure Safari

On your 10-day Uganda gorilla and wildlife adventure safari, have a heavy breakfast, pack lunch boxes, and pack enough water. Meet your guide and go to the park information offices for a briefing. Start your forest walk to find the endangered mountain gorillas. Spend an hour observing their activities before driving to Entebbe town.

Day 9: Drive to Entebbe – 10-Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Adventure Safari

Wake up early for breakfast, load your travel bags into the safari vehicle, and check out of the lodge. Drive to Entebbe, stopping at the Uganda equator for lunch and a water experience. You can also visit craft shops for Ugandan souvenirs before continuing to Entebbe for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

Rise early in the morning to have breakfast, after getting all your travel bags loaded into your safari vehicle, and then head to Entebbe International Airport to meet your return flight
