This 2 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour from Kigali will take you to for the ultimate gorilla experience from Kigali International Airport or any hotel in the city. Kigali will serve as the starting and finishing points for this two-day Bwindi gorilla trekking excursion. The goal of this incredible journey with these gentle giants is to provide you the opportunity to spend as little time as possible with the critically endangered mountain gorillas and other primates, including L’Hoest, Red-tailed, Blue, Black, and White Colobus Monkeys, and Mangabeys.
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport or Hotel in Kigali city and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast in the morning at your hotel or upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, your Journeys Uganda tour driver guide will be waiting to greet you and give you an overview of your two-day mountain gorilla trekking tour. You will then be transferred to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, located in the southwest of Uganda. Then travel across the borders of Katuna or Kyanika will take about five to six hours. During that time, you will have lunch and refreshments before checking into your lodge reservation, where you may unwind, eat dinner, and spend the night at the Kisoro Travellers Rest Hotel.

Day 2: Early Morning Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Return to Kigali City or Airport.
After your early morning breakfast and a packed lunch with snacks, visit the park information centre to register and receive an orientation regarding the mountain gorilla trekking activity. In search of mountain gorillas, you then start your hike with an armed ranger guide. You are 95% certain to come across mountain gorillas in the dense jungle of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, and once you do, you will spend an hour tracking, observing, and documenting their behaviour with a camera. To ensure that your encounter with the mountain gorillas is unforgettable, make sure your camera is well charged in order not to miss important moments. Pick up your tracking certificate at the information centre after your enchanted one-hour encounter with the mountain gorillas. After enjoying your lunch and refreshments, head back to the airport in Kigali to catch your return flight, or spend the night at any hotel in the city.
