Detailed Itinerary for the 4 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari Experience
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After landing at Wilson International Airport in Nairobi this morning, you will be welcomed by one of our safari guides and driven to the western side of the city, passing through small towns and villages until you arrive at Narok Town, the largest town close to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will stop for lunch at Narok Town before continuing on to your lodge for some downtime. The Masai Mara National Reserve is around five to six hours away from Nairobi, but the trip offers fascinating vistas of the Rift Valley, opportunities to see the indigenous Masai people in their traditional garb, and stunning views of private local ranches with cows grazing.
Have lunch and some relaxation, then depart for an afternoon game drive in search of Africa’s magnificent big five, which are located in the Masai Mara national reserve; these include Leopards, Lions, Rhinos, Elephants, and Buffaloes. The wildebeest, Zebras, Wildebeest, hyenas, and cheetahs are just a few of the creatures you may see in addition to the Big 5. You will travel back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay after this roughly three-year game drive, during which you will get ready for the activities and attractions of the following day.
Day 2: Exploring the Masai Mara National reserve
Your 4 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari will begin with an early morning breakfast provided by your lodge, followed by a full day of game drives across the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you may witness the wildebeest migration while enjoying a picnic lunch. The migratory wildebeest and other species, including as zebras, elands, and others. July through October is when you can witness the greatest wildebeest migration. There are numerous other species that you can see in addition to the wildebeests, including Giraffes, Buffaloes, Lions, cheetahs, antelopes and many more. Savour your packed lunch as you stroll along the banks of the River Mara, which is crossed by the wildebeest migration. After this amazing day, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast and a thorough hotel check-out, you will depart this morning and make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park by car. Together with your safari guide driver, you will travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will check into your lodge, have lunch and have some relaxation. After you will now embark on a game drive to see various animals, such Rhinoceros, and several bird species, like the lesser and flamingo bird species. After taking in the expansive views of the park and its inhabitants, which include animals, from one of the viewpoints, you will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Early Morning game drive and return to Kenya’s capital Nairobi
In order to see some wildlife that you might have missed on the last game drive, you will go on the final morning game drive in Nakuru National Park today. Afterward, you will go on an en route game drive before returning to Nairobi by car. Previously, following your game drive and meeting up with your safari driver-guide, you would set out for Nairobi, where you would have lunch before being driven off at the airport to catch your return flight, which would conclude this safari.
