4 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Safari, Explore the rich biodiversity in the Kibale forest, ranging from the high concentration of primates among which is the multitude of species of monkeys, baboons, and the popular chimpanzees to the rich plant cover and trees, bird species and butterflies.

Day 1: Kampala–Kibale Forest National Park.

Early morning transfer to Kibale forest National Park popularly known for the highest concentration of primates in East Africa with one of them being the Chimpanzee. Overnight at mountains of the moon or chimpanzee guest house or Ataco country Resort. FB

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking In Kibale Forest National Park

Assemble at the park headquarters early morning after breakfast for the chimpanzee trek. Kibale Escorted by a well trained guide and ranger we will make our way through the rich tropical rainforest of Kibale as we explore the rich biodiversity in the area. Today we will put particular emphasis on the chimpanzees. These delightful primates are a great enchantment to watch as they play in the fruiting tress. Later on in the afternoon, we will visit the Bigodi wetlands which also harbor a wide variety of primates and birds. Overnight at mountains of the moon or chimpanzee guest house or Ataco country resort. FB

Day 3: Primates Walk In Kibale Forest National Park

This trip provides for an extra day in the primates capital. We will explore the rich forest again on a nature walk where we will have an opportunity to spot various bird species, the l’hoest’s monkey, the grey cheeked mongebeys, the colobus monkeys, baboons among others. In the afternoon you may choose to visit the crater lakes area, take a walk in the local villages and farms you could also have an opportunity of visiting a homestead and share their way of life. Overnight at mountains of the moon or chimpanzee guest house or Attaco Country Resort. Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park – Kampala

This morning you may visit the Nyakasura hills also famous for the Mabere Ga Nyinamwiru in the local language (scientifically known as the stalactites and stalagmites, the place poses a rich cultural history of the Batooro. Or you may visit the Crater Lake area and hike all the way to the top of the world which offers a spectacular and rewarding view. Later transfer to Back to Kampala.
