Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Journeys Uganda representative who will transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Masai Mara National Reserve for a spectacular African safari experience in Kenya. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your lodge for check-in and relaxation

Day 3 & 4: Exploring Masai Mara National Reserve
These two days of the 7-day Kenya and Uganda Safari will feature different activities as you explore the breathtaking Masai Mara National Reserve. Begin by having breakfast at the lodge early in the morning. Additionally, head to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve for an excellent wildlife viewing experience. After that, spend the day searching for other animals, including the elusive cheetah, elephants, leopards, and lions. Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, topi, spotted hyenas, zebras, giraffes, and other species. Enjoy seeing the wildebeest as they migrate from the Serengeti to the Maasai Mara if you visit during the months of the great migration.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On this day of the 7-day Kenya and Uganda Safari, you will have breakfast and be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park either by road or air means of transportation. Upon arrival, you will be driven to your opulent lodge for check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Note: Those who fly there will engage in other activities, such as a community tour or a Batwa Pygmy cultural experience.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Uganda
On this exciting day of the 7-day Kenya and Uganda Safari, you will have an early morning breakfast and be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing on the activity. You will be allocated a group of about 8 people led by a ranger guide who will guide you throughout the Gorilla Trekking Experience. Upon tracking down the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour with these gentle giants, after which you will be awarded your gorilla trekking certificate. After this strenuous activity, you will be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Entebbe for Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport by air or road. This will mark the end of our 7-day Kenya and Uganda Safari.
