Detailed Itinerary of the 15-Day Tanzania Wildlife and Beach Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Arrive in Tanzania to begin your incredible journey through this country. You will be welcomed by a Journeys Uganda representative who will transfer you to your accommodation for check-in and relaxation.

Day 2: Arusha Town Experience
After breakfast this morning, proceed to Arusha town to explore the town and the street markets. Accessories and souvenirs can be purchased for a memorable experience. You will then dine at a Tanzanian restaurant for a sample of the native cuisines. You will be transferred back to the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will proceed to Tarangire National Park, which is situated in the Manyara region approximately 120 kilometres southwest of Arusha, for an African Game Drive. Hills on the Great Rift Valley floor make up the majority of the park, which follows the Tarangire River. Large African Baobab trees and Acacia woods make up the majority of its native vegetation, with vast marsh regions found in the south. Wild animals are drawn to the river and the wetlands during Tanzania’s dry season. It is believed that some of Africa’s largest herds of elephants can be found at Tarangire National Park. You will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and accommodation.

Day 4: Game drive in Tarangire National Park
Your Journeys Uganda guide is going to pick you up after an early breakfast on this day of the 15-day Tanzania Wildlife and Beach Safari and take you on an exciting game drive in Tarangire National Park. You’ll head back to the lodge for a nap and a nice lunch. In the evening, you will join a Masai local ranger for a nature walk around the park. You may come across antelopes and zebras, elephants, and different bird species, among other wild animals. You will be transferred back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Leaving the mountains behind, you will travel via Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and reach the famous Serengeti National Park, which is home to boundless plains that stretch as far as your gaze. While travelling, you will stop by a Maasai Boma to witness the Maasai people performing their traditional dances. Following that, you will proceed to the Seronera area, which is among the park’s most abundant wildlife habitats. It is home to the Seronera River, which serves as a vital water source for the region and draws several wildlife species.

Day 6: All-day Serengeti Game Drive experience
Explore the expansive Serengeti plains for the entire day on day 6 of the 15-day Tanzania Wildlife and Beach Safari. To take part in an early-morning game drive, you will have to get up early. Predators may still be hunting before going to bed for the day, and you might see animals grazing in the stunning morning light. Watch out for Serengeti sunrises, and there are plenty of amazing photography opportunities during this enchanted time of day. You can choose to bring lunch to eat at one of the many picnic locations in the Serengeti, or you can go back to your lodging for a cooked lunch. You’ll go on another game drive after lunch, which may feature lions.
In the early morning and late afternoon, when the temperature is not too hot, cheetahs can also be seen on the plains. To capture their prey, they depend on light and speed. Crocodiles can be spotted sunbathing on the riverbanks, while hippos can be observed in the larger pools and rivers.

Day 7: Proceed towards the Mara River
On this particular day, you get up early and drive further down to the Mara River, where you will see herds of wildebeests either migrating towards the river or gathering there to wait for their crossing with our picnic breakfast and lunch. It’s like waiting for a baby to be born, and everyone is on edge to watch them cross. The monstrous crocodiles are also waiting for their meals now, after nearly a year of waiting. Our day will be spent in the areas around the Mara River.

Day 8: Drive back to central Serengeti
After breakfast on day 8 of this 15-day Tanzania Wildlife and Beach Safari, you will head out for another half-day wildlife drive along the Mara River, where you might be lucky enough to spot wildebeests crossing. The Black Rhino may also be seen in the vicinity. There are also many large cats in the region. Arrive on time for hot showers, beverages, sunset viewing, and a campfire after a late afternoon trip to the central Serengeti.

Day 9: Transfer to Ngorogoro
After breakfast, you will check out and travel to Karatu via Ngorongoro, taking in the diverse scenery.

Day 10: Game Drive in Ngorogoro Crater
You will be picked up by your Journeys Uganda guide and transferred to Ngorongoro Crater following an early breakfast. Following check-in, you will proceed on a full-day game drive by descending six hundred meters into the crater. Wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and enormous African elephants are among the many animals that call the Ngorongoro Crater home, which is sustained by a year-round supply of water and food. The abundance of predators in this attractive park, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, is another major attraction.
