Day 1 Arrival for the primate’s trip

Arrival at Entebbe international airport where you will be met and greeted by our guide or representative and then transfer to your hotel.

Day 2:  Transfer to Budongo forest

Early morning your driver guide will pick you from the hotel and Transfer to Budongo forest a part of the Murchison falls conservation area, with a stopover at the Zziwa rhino sanctuary, an orphanage for the endangered white rhinos in Uganda.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest

Early morning we enjoy our breakfast at the lodge before heading out to the forest in search of the delightful chimpanzees. In the quiet forest where the silence is only destructed by the songs of numerous birds live a number of other primates, reptiles and a good count of plant species. In the afternoon visit the top of the falls area.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale forest national park

After breakfast continue to Kibale Forest National Park the primates capital prominent for the numerous primates in this area. The forest is popular for its high concentrations of primates among which are the chimpanzees and various monkey species.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning briefing at the park headquarters and we are off to explore the rich biodiversity of Kibale forest in search of the playful chimpanzees found in the heart of this forest. In the afternoon we visit the bigodi wetland sanctuary another haven for primates as well as birds.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park- game drive

Early morning breakfast before transferring to Queen Elizabeth National park a park. Lying in the fabled mountains of the moon Queen Elizabeth is perhaps Uganda’s most popular National park because of the species diversity here.

Day 7: chimpanzee trekking and boat cruise

Rise up to an astonishing sound of bird songs in the wilderness as we make our way in the kyambura gorge forest in search of the playful chimpanzees. Return to the lodge for lunch and after lunch; take a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that joins Lake Edward to Lake George which will treat you to a rich display of both birds and wildlife.

 Day 8: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National a park

Prepare for an early game drive and later transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park home for half of the world’s population of the mountain Gorillas via the Ishasha sector. Drive through the terraced hills and winding roads known as the Switzerland of East Africa.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

The climax of the Ugandan Safari is an encounter with the gentle giants that are highly endangered and the day is today. After a brief briefing at the park headquarters we will make our way in the impenetrable ancient Bwindi Forest. The trek is quite strenuous but highly rewarding with an hour looking and interacting with the enormous and intelligent mountain Gorilla. Later transfer back to the lodge and depending on where you sleep, time and ability you may take a community walk, a forest trek to the beautiful falls, or enjoy a cultural performance from the local people.

Day 10: Transfer to Mgahinga

Day 11: Golden monkey trekking

Day 12: Departure

Early morning after breakfast Continue to Kampala with a stopover at the equator and the royal drum makers in mpigi.
