Day 1: Arrival in Kigali for the 14-day Rwanda, Tanzania wildlife and Beach Safari
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by a Journeys Uganda representative who will transfer you to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will go on a Kigali City Tour, which will feature exploring the main historical and cultural landmarks, such as the Presidential Museum, the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, and the Kigali craft markets, depending on the time of day. You will enjoy lunch at a city restaurant after touring some of these locations, where you can sample regional cuisine or continental dishes. You will then be transferred to Volcanoes National Park, famous for its mountain gorillas.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
You will be prepared to begin your gorilla trekking experience today after an early breakfast. After being taken to the briefing areas by the driver guide, you will hear from the ranger guide about what to expect while in the park. While you wait for everyone to assemble, take advantage of the Rwandan hospitality offered by hot Rwandan coffee and traditional dances. After giving you some advice on gorilla trekking, such as not using flash cameras, the ranger guide will split you up into various groups. The guide will take you to the designated gorilla group’s trailhead, depending on where the gorilla family you are trekking with is located.
The afternoon will feature optional activities such as a visit to the Musanze Caves, relaxation at your lodge, and a visit to the famous Twin Lakes.

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking Experience in Volcanoes National Park
Just like yesterday, you are scheduled to be transported to the park headquarters by your driver guide shortly after an early breakfast on this day of the 14-day Rwanda, Tanzania wildlife and beach safari. The ranger guide will give you a briefing regarding your visit to the park. Because golden monkeys are typically more active than gorillas, you may need to follow them around while they eat. You are permitted to spend an hour with them after locating them. You will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Kigali International Airport and Departure to Arusha
After breakfast on this day of the 14-day Rwanda, Tanzania wildlife, and Beach Safari, your driver guide will transfer you to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Arusha in Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge for check-in.

Day 6: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, you will journey via Ngorongoro Crater and enter the Serengeti National Park. You will descend into the Serengeti National Park, which is home to boundless grasslands that stretch as far as your gaze can take in. You will have the opportunity to witness the Maasai performing their traditional dances at a Maasai Boma while travelling. Following that, you will travel to the Seronera area, which is the park’s core region and is home to some of the most abundant wildlife habitats.

Day 7 & 8: Game Drives in Serengeti for the all days
Explore the expansive Serengeti plains for the entire day on these days of the 14-day Rwanda, Tanzania wildlife, and beach safari. To take part in an early morning game drive, you will have to get up early to catch a glimpse of elusive nocturnal species. Serengeti sunrises are too beautiful to be missed, and there are plenty of spectacular photography opportunities during this enchanted time of day. You can choose to bring lunch to eat at one of the many picnic locations in the Serengeti, or you can go back to your lodging for a cooked lunch. You’ll go on another exciting game drive after lunch. Expect to see a variety of wildlife species, including the Big Five, reptiles, and numerous bird species during these game drives. If it was the migration season, visitors should expect to experience a natural spectacle.

Day 9: Transfer to Ngorongoro
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave the popular Serengeti National Park for the Ngorongoro Crater, another wildlife sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your lodge for check-in and relaxation.

Day 10: Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast on day ten of the 14-day Rwanda, Tanzania Wildlife, and Beach Safari, your guide will pick you up and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After check-in, you descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day game drive. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big drawcard to this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
One of the primary features unique to the crater is Lake Magadi, a sizable but shallow alkaline lake in the southwest corner. Flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic species are frequently spotted in considerable numbers here.
